Sending packages sold on ebay

can someone recommend a safe way of sending lp's through the post to buyers?

dont want them turning up smashed

well i would get 2 big bits o thick card n sandwich the lps inbetween n tape up reallt tightly n slap fragile all over it ,thats how i did my spark pludgs a was selling any way

try using old calender envelopes particularly the card ones , then you can fit 2 pieces of bubble wrap in, thats how they arrive to me when ive bought mail-order.

thin mdf cut just proud of the lp, its cheap and will cut with a stanley knife.

MDF sounds the best but could be expensive (dont think buyers will be willing to pick up tab on P&P charges as have had people complain about £1.50 to send a DVD)
What might work out cheeper is to use hardboard
but plastering packages with FRAGILE DO NOT BEND just seems to make the post ofice want to experiment and see just how much they can bend the item and what will happen
