Hard to laugh at this...
« on: December 01, 2010, 16:03:34 »
The current lead story about the big freeze on the Beeb features a Disco wedged sideays across a Bedfordshire lane

Hope it's not one of ours...

I'm doing my bit for the environment - I'm offsetting - at least, I park my V8 next to a Prius at work - does that count?

What a plonker!

I would imagine they're too embarrassed to go and recover it at the moment. On a serious note if left there for long it'll get hit by another vehicle, doesn't look as though there's any room to go around it and the ground evidently makes it a bit tricky to stop...

Sorry, but fun is fun and stupidity is stupid whichever way you look at it.

Than we wonder why 4x4 enthusiasts have such bad publicity !

Because as usual the media choose to ignore the dozens of good deeds and positive stories in preference to 4x4 bashing out of jealousy and some misguided idea that we are to blame for all the worlds ills.

On another note, it appears the world has ended because there has been an inch of snow in lundon.  Oh dear, what a shame.  I'm not saying it's bad here but we did have mountain rescue out earlier :-.
