EAS reset software Not working HELP!!!

<< < (2/3) > >>

Yoshi:
I got the wire information from http://rangerovers.net/repairdetails/airsuspension/suspump.html#jumpers

There is probably a way to do it, but i am going to put a couple of switches in myself to save time and effort lol

Going to use the existing wires on the loom under the seat, then just extend them and use a couple of piggy back connectors cos you need to do 2 bags at a time, so am going to wire in 3 switches.

1. Front airbags
2. Rear airbags
3. Compressor

It also shows you how to reset the fault so that it stops beeping at you, but the fault remains in the ECU (but i wont be bothered cos i will be leaving the ECU disconnected

It's a bit more complicated than that.  You need to open any bags or combination of bags plus either the inlet valve from the tank or the exhaust valve which purges through the moisture trap (so needs doing once ina a while).

the pump motor pulls about 30 amps too.

You could at one point get a reprogrammed ECU that allowed you to access all 5 height modes at will, you'd have to trawl the adverts in LRM though.

Without the ECU how will you know it's level :-k

Basically i have it setup on a switch now.  It raises and lowers on the switch manually.  Got the compressor on a seperate switch with a little light that will come on when the compressor is full.

The switch raises and lowers all 4 springs together and its most definately level :)

Well done sounds awesome :-) do you have an indication of what height it's at an when?
