I was pointed to this by a mate so did it tonight. Got three messages back from Orange telling me that they have sorted it and that there is no extra costs no matter what network i'm using.

The missus was with t-mobile and got a great signal where we are, i have always been with orange and had poor signal in the house

Just had a word with my son (who works for France Telecom, owner of Orange & TMobile) about this. He has been heavily involved in the merger of these two networks and says that phones should have been freely jumping between networks for a couple of weeks now without either you or them having to do anything. The link up has been made as seamless as possible so you won't notice when this happens.

Of course, that also means that you won't notice if its not happening either  [-X  :-k

Yeap, bit annoyed as we said we'd never go anywhere near orange again and now I find the've gone and merged.
