air filter puzzle
« on: October 29, 2010, 13:25:07 »
I have a Mann air filter with code  c25128 on the side. I bought this for my ranger but clearly it is wrong in size and shape! I cant find what vehicle it is for to put it on ebay and get some money back off of it. Anyone know a way of being able to find out what it is for?

According to my 2007 Coopers catalogue it's equivalent to their AG1438 which is fitted to the following:

Ford Ranger, 2.5 and 2.8 diesel (2000 on)
Mazda B2500 (1998-2002)
Mitsubishi Galant 2.4 with 4G64 injection (99 on) and 2.5 (97-01)
Mitsubishi Space Wagon 2.4 (98-01)

I wouldn't trust the catalogue 100%, but it gives a guide.

ah, so it looks like the filter is from a pre face lift ranger from 2000-2006. cheers for this. I can list it on fle bay now!
