Fitting a Vertical Toroidal lpg tank on the rear door!!
« on: October 25, 2010, 11:49:20 »
Its just an idea I had as a solution to taking up interior space for an lpg tank, I've already got a 35l tank fitted at the rear between the chassis rails but I'm forever filling up.

Has anyone else thought of doing this?

If the tank was fitted would it be feasable to put in a section of braided flexible pipe similar to brake pipes so the rear door could still be opened and would this sort of pipe be ok pressure wise?

I'm sure there are many other issues I haven't even thought of, but like I said, it was just an idea........

Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Cheers
