Fitting tree sliders onto a 90
« on: September 14, 2010, 21:17:53 »
Hi guys, I picked up some tree sliders from the rebel stand at the Peterborough show and have absolutely no idea how they fit. On one end they have 2 plates that stick out that are drilled and the other end there is a drilled plate welded onto the inner side.
I always thought they had tubes that slid into the rear outrigger of the chassis. Am I a few bits missing of a full setup?

Thanks Jay

There should be 2 tabs on the front to mount to the bulkhead outrigger and a tube bolted to the rea to go through the rear tub outrigger.

Thats how mine are anyway. So id say your missing the tubes pal.

Yep. I have the Rebel ones and there should be 2 tubes with thick plates welded to outer end that bolt to the threaded plate you mention. Give them a call, I'm sure they'll sort it out for you.

Cheers guys, I had a sneeky peek on a work computer today and just had enough time to call them. The fitting kit is on it's way to me.
Thankyou for your help.

Thankyou. No worries, I usually struggle to put pics on here but I can email you some. I will try to include the fitting process too.

If you have a side fuel tank with a Rebel guard, you will need to chop a chunk off the back of the guard. Their own tree sliders don't fit with their tank guards

Lol, thankyou for the tip. I'm getting frequently annoyed with having a little fuel tank so I'm researching the fitment of a td5/110 fuel tank at the back. I cant find the tank guards on rebel anyway. I did have a look but I did see your troubles on daisies website.
