Playing with images

Was a bit bored last night, so I had a bit of a play with a rather dull photo I had of my disco.  What do you think?

muky-kid.:
8) How did you do that, and what software is it....

I used Gimp (Free download for Windows here. It's available for Linux and Mac types if you look for it).  Other programs like Photoshop or Painshop Pro should do just as well.

I then selected a rough area around the vehicle, and copied and pasted this into a new image.  In the new image, I then erased everything around the vehicle so that I just had the vehicle floating in space.

Then, on the full image, I converted it to greyscale, and then back to RGB again.

Now, paste your full-colour vehicle that you've neatly cut out into the black and white image, line it up with the black and white vehicle behind it, and voila!

Andy.:
Like it very good, clever what can be done  :D

strapping young lad:
huw

man and i thought you were good

loo closely on the reflections on the roof and bonnet of the disco

such a spoilsport
