I found perfectly good diff oil (up to spec) as well as ATF and engine oil all at about half of Halfrauds price!

Tommo:
There are obviously a few types of ATF that the landy gearboxes prefer and I would like to know a little more about that. Using a high spec ATF isnt always going to be the best option because ATF is designed for rediculous temperatures and pressures which isnt what a LR gearbox imposes on it. So more advanced ATF is probably more advanced in areas that arent required and probably compromised in the areas we need.

What about MTF? Like they put in the ford gearboxes.

Highland_Defender:
Well its Landrovers own MTF and EP90 that ashcroft recommend.

Ashcroft tell me that they are releasing their own brand of oil........
