ATF and EP90

(1/3) > >>

Highland_Defender:
Just going to redo the fluids in the tranny this week, was wondering if anyone would care to suggest a good quality ATF and ep90.

I'll price it from shell and my local machinery dealers tomorrow. Just wanted to see if anyone found a specificly fantastic type.

Cheers

Range Rover Blues:
I use Lucas oils ATF, it's racing spec and handles the heat very well.

I have used difflocks oils in the past.  I know they are expensive but in my opinion, they are well worth it.
I dont run them in my 90 because i change the oils after every playday and event so its not worth it, however, if you change the oils at the recomended intervals, they are very good.
They make the gearchanges very slick and got rid of a lot of the hastle in changing notchy gearchanges.

Mud_Medic:
Have a look in your local agricultural supplier... Farmers will not pay a penny more than they need to....

I found perfectly good diff oil (up to spec) as well as ATF and engine oil all at about half of Halfrauds price!
