Low top speed on TD5

disco2 td5:
They don't work on td5 engine the only cheap ish thing is nano com n there about 250-300 quid

Will it go to the red line in the lower gears or not

if its hunting then the ecu is picking up overboost so it scrambles the fueling to drop the rpm until the boost reach's the correct level.
td5's suffer with siezed wastegates
clamp a pair of molegrips onto the arm and make sure it moves freely
check the bleed pipe to the actuator for splits
if you still have problems, just lengthen the rod abit on the actuator

 :lol: Thanks for the tips it was a seized wastegate. Freed it up with a pair of plyers all seems OK now  :dance:
