I shall do my best to not see any of it. I'm not sick of it though. If people want to watch it, that's fine by me. It does mean you can go out for a walk or drive on nearly empty roads for an hour and a half. Or do the weekly shop in an empty shop. :D
Today, I even had a customer in Germany 'wish me luck' in the tournament :shock: He seemed amazed when I told him I have no interest in it whatsoever.

Over the years of me doing my Plod job, most of the Public Order jobs I was deployed to, were Football related.
I have never been deployed for Rugby, Cricket, F1, Olympic, Bog Snorkelling or Cheese Rolling Public Order jobs.
It makes me cringe when I hear the phrases/words 'Ingerland', 1966, 'Beautiful Game' and other such nonsense trawled out over and over again, and to hear these overpaid egotists such as Rooney and Beckham described as heroes makes me angry.
I'm going to get some beer and find something to watch that has nothing to do with football.
