About 1/3rd is a BOAT (with seasonal TRO). Other sections are now restricted Byway (Ex RUPP) but are also on the list of streets and are hence duel status so it is another 'grey route' that NERC created. Some say you can and some say you can't. Legal minefield.

Still think that the police will end up getting fed up with trying to sort out all the pics to find out if its a legel lane or not as you know how good some of the bobble hat brigade are at map reading When they stop you and ask why you are driving on a footpath  :roll:

just a thought, could one get legal aid to defend this action by dint of proving the illigality of the redesignation of the byway to 'restricted' e.g. an infringement of ones human rights under the right to roam act?

Just a thought, well ppipe dream really but our lovely shiney new gov't has suggested that we can nominate stoopid acts passed under the liebour gov't to have repealed.

I think they are trying to get a cheap referendum on fox hunting which they promised to repeal and may now not want to, but would it work on NERC?
