Decent P38?
« on: April 25, 2010, 12:19:54 »
Can you buy a decent 'new' shape (P38) for £3,000ish?  Ideally V8 on LPG.

Would it be a money pit?

Thanks.

my mate has just sold his 1996 p38 4.0 for £1600 it had 200k miles on it and in good condition, the engine was sweet as a nut and it had never been run on gas. they are about and it depends on how you drive it as to how much it will cost to run, for example he drove to south wales and used a whole tank of fuel, his misses drove back and it used a quarter of a tank of fuel.... how heavey are your shoes??? ha ha
