Is it worth it??
My Rangie is modified, winch, snorkel, etc. and have had a quote or two for insurance.

Adrian Flux have said for £10 fee, if I send 8 pics they will value it and we will agree a value.

Others will charge me £15 and will agree to my valuation but will re-value it if anything happens  :roll: :roll:

Flux was not the best price but was the best cover, like for like on accessories/mods

Also worth noting some companies 'green lanecover' only included club organised outings  :-k :-k

ive been with flux for year have off road cover greenlane cover and can put what mods on i like as long as i tell then and no increase on my insuranse i pay £207 a year

I've just finished moving all my vehicles off flux. Their initial quotes are always good, but they put up the premium on every vehicle every year on year.. The last one was a 50% increase from last years premium - no changes on any of the vehicles, my address, and no convictions, that didn't get renewed yesterday.

Frank Pickles beat every quote, in fact I've a total saving of £450 over 3 vehicles leaving flux and going with Frank Pickles, whilst I was at it, I scored a 5% discount for all the members of the forum I help run.  Might be worth a call.

Frank Pickles was around £10 cheaper But that was the greenlane cover issue, club outings only, also 'market value' on my rangie is I would guess £!000 MAX so was looking for agreed value due to the mods.

Will be shopping around every time as I currently insure 4 vehicles  :oops:

Strange, cus I double checked the green lane thing and it was for all cover + all organized trips. I need to confirm the insurance for one truck later in the month so I'll check then.
