300tdi disco axles on a 90

hello guys i had 300 tdi axles off a disco fitted to my 90 last week and it seems that there is a lot more body roll on the ass end and that mt steering seems odd at times i would take it back to where i had it done but im not going back there the bloke took the p*** doing the work but ne way i didnt know if ne of u lot have had ne thing like this when fitting them ??
1984 land rover 90  (2.5tdi disco engine).2inch scorpion racing lift. steering guard. snorkel.tornadomotorsport spot light rollcage bar. 265/75/16 insa turbo special track.side exit exhaust.12000lb winch.alloy intercooler pipes.super gaz shocks . td5 intercooler . boostin at a bar . 300tdi disco axles . new tran and gear box. omp buk seats and painted in a one off colour hee hee

I dont know of any common problems but by the sounds of it check that all nuts and bolts are tight!, bushes ok??

Just a thought, if steering seems odd at times could be down to excessive play in the swivels preload if these are the ones that came on the 300tdi axles??

Steering could be the steering swivels that need adjusting, or that your old ones needed adjusting.  A well set up axle won't necessarily self-centre fully.

It could also be the toe-in that is set differently.

Rear end roll is controlled by the springs and the anti roll bar.  Unless these were changed there should be no difference.  The front end is affected by the radius arm bushes, were these renewed?
