lurch_917:
its better to blank it of properly as a freind done a half assed job on his went for a play and actualy drownd his engine through the valve
mark-d:
yer better changing the intercooler - minifold hose to a 200tdi one
mark-d:

Range Rover Blues:
Yes I'd put money on the pleneum being full of oily greasy black sludge. The combination of oil from the turbo and the engine breather coupled with the soot form EGR makes a right mess.
TBH I'd also sugest rerouting the engine breather to a catch tank too rather than the turbo inlet, I then fed the breather from the tank into the airbox to burn off any smelly fumes from the oil breather. I guess a really good catch tank could be plumbed back into the turbo elbow but mine still passes some oil droplets.
mark-d:
it would av to be water tight tho
