--- Quote from: "HRH_Dave" ---Isnt it about time we all started complaining about the fuel price Im not suggesting a protest or anything but its getting out of hand. shouldnt we stand up for out rights as road users and make a stand over the over inflateted price that we have to pay!!!!!

its all well and good to have the protest but look what happened last time when the goverment basicly went in to overdrive on smear campaign against the main guy.
You can bet that most of the headlines you saw in the papers where some how orientated by stories coming from goverment departments rather than by the newspapers doing the work themselves.
It may sound like paranoid statement or conspiracy theroy but I think its priety safe to say the papers didnt come up with all the c**p they printed on there own
just think if this was somewhere like france and they put a price rise on diesel what would hapen
blocking of ports
protests in the streets etc
where as al we seem to do is write to our MP who then goes on holiday for 6 months on a "fact finding" tour of the caribean with his personal secetary and the large selection of adult products that no doubt they will be seen with in every paper for the next 3 months
sorry but needed to have a little rant on that subject

I totally agree with what your saying there but the problem last time was the they didnt get the backing of the whole country, the problem with the people over here is that they sit back and think it will get betting in a week or two or somebody else with protest for me.

Eh i think it was,
whats more shocking is the fact that fuel prices at the mo are HIGHER than when the fuel protests happened a few years ago,id be up for it again cos its shocking the price of fuel as every1 just pays up & doesnt bother there backside, god at the mo the motorist is gettin riden from all angles in regard to the costs now,if its no insurance companys that have our trousers down its the government helping them with the cost of fuel,if its not that they do it again with the road tax,up here you need a 4x4 cos the roads are so knackered & all the ££££ is going into some1 elses pockets & not where it belongs
Guy90:
Nope! Still isn't a good cause. Those running last time sold the public a lie and its still true today.
