Hi

Is anyone using the BP Ultimate Diesel (or other similar diesel)?

Have you noticed any real diference (other than the price)?

I'm just wondering whether it's worth the extra 5p per liter extra.

I've occasionally flirted with "ultimate" fuels on the company fuel card, and I've never noticed any difference at all.  That's not to say there isn't one, but it's not perceptible in the vehicles I use, when only using the fuel from time to time.

Still using standard diesel, but I noticed they slipped another price rise in the other week, sneaky sods.

I don't think that the government will be happy until diesel is £1.00 per litre.  :cry:  :cry:

Well I'd have to say there is a difference.  I've been running the Disco on Esso diesel for the last 4 tankfulls now and I can tell that performance is up a little, economy is better in that it goes further than normal on about the same amount of fuel (can't be exact as I don't measure it) and the motor "seems" smoother.
