hi there folks need a little advice concerning me converting my classic  range rover from v8 to 200tdi using engine and gearbox from a discovery do i use the discovery gearbox crossmember i do i use five speed v8 gearbox mountings if so which ones cheers folks  :afro:

Use the crossmember and gearboc mountings that came with the TDi you are fitting.  The chassis are basically the same thing and the TDi crossmember is different to suite that installation.  I think the engine sits further forwards in the TDi.

Yes! the LT230 and B_W are fully interchangeable, the B_W has a ratio of 2.02:1.
