Little wiring Q

SWEETY:
Hi guy's, i'm going to fit my CB where the front interior light is (roof mounted) & was wondering if the interior light wiring would be up to the job of powering the CB as it'll save on having to run extra wires up there :roll:. Oh it's a D2 if that helps

I have my CB in my D1 up in the map pocket above the windscreen.

The power comes from the interior light with no problems.

I have a TEAM MC8 and to fit it in I loosened the pocket and slotted it in then retightened it! Don't know how thick the MIdland unit is or indeed if the pockets are different on the later models? Worked for me though!!
