Little wiring Q

<< < (2/4) > >>

SWEETY:
Thanks for the input guy's :D I tried dropping the map pocket down but my Midland 98 Plus just wouldn't fit without cutting the map pocket up which I don't fancy doing TBH as the sun visor wouldn't fold up properly so I think they must have either changed things between the D1 & D2 or my CB is just to fat
Anyway went to the breakers & got another interior light which i've trimmed the centre out of to mount the CB bracket onto & am reshaping most of it with a drop of fibreglass for hopefully a factory look  Will post a pic up if anyone is interested

crazymac:
Yep, we always need pics

Range Rover Blues:
Just to save a bit of current on the wiring youcould fit an LED festoon bulb in the interior light, I just bought some and they are way better than the original too.

SWEETY:
Still got more filler to add & plenty of sanding to do before I get the final shape but hopefully this will gice you a bit of an idea of my plan :lol:The CB mounting bracket will be screwed inside of the old interior light & then will prob look into adding a light up front

SWEETY:
Well fitted the CB at last :Dthinking of adding another type of interior light in the front but that can wait for the min :lol:It's come out as I hoped so am pleased just a shame the SWR is sky high & the rig it's self is only putting out 2w of power when it was hitting 4W in my other motor
here's a pic
