how long does it take to make a winch bumper??

   Hi,

    i ordered a winch bumper for my 90 from a well known midlands based firm 22 days ago..i was promised it would be here last tuesday..yet it still hasnt turned up...is it me or does that seem like a long time to get an order out?

Could be a number of reasons and speaking to them would be better than hypothesizing.

could be one of many places, but most get there bumppers from the same people but badged under different names. they are quite busy at the moment. give them a bell and chase it up.

 ive tried ringing and will again..but i have er....a habit of cutting of my nose to spite my face when it comes to issues like this..

   having never bought a winch bumper before i was hoping someone would say that 3 weeks is a normal build time

it depends if they have any in stock, what orders they have and how many people they have working. the metal has to be cut, folded, welded, ground and prepped for powder coating, powder coated, checked for fit, packaged and shipped to the middle man and then it has to be shipped from where you bought it from to you. it could already be on its way...
