Hi
I fitted the heater matrix  fan & box & motor from a TD5; it was a straight swap for the original (mines a 300 tdi) and cost me £50.00 on ebay. The heater now blows red hot air and I get a bit too hot now.

My father-in-law is very proud of the heated steering wheel in his X5. Keeps telling me about all the gadgets he has on it..... funny how I can't get him to bring it to an off road event though  :-k

I drive round with the drivers window open most of the time. td5 heaters are great when fitted with the wing air scoop
