clutch fork ?
gtomo2:
Well think my fork for the clutch plate has gone. got good bite on clutch pedel and at normal hight but wont disingage the clutch when i press the pedel. Now the fun bit can it be replaced by just splitting the engine and gearbox or is it gearbox out time.
Range Rover Blues:
How can you split them without taking it out :-k
Anyhoo, if you can reach inside far enough to disengage the clutch fork from the pushrod arm and the back of the release bearing then I guess you could do, but how small are your hands
gtomo2:
Was thinking of dropping the props and seeing if the gear box would push back for enough for a gap big enough to get it out. If that make sence just if its gearbox out job then its down to a garage to do it for me.
Range Rover Blues:
Within about an inch the geabox hits the rear floor, so you need to tilt the whole engine/box backwards to start off.
gtomo2:
Thanks so probaly less hash to drop the gearbox then.
