Which is the cheapest and best motor for winch challenge?

There are two good choices
100" chassis tube frame.  More stable than a 90 under speed or steep desent or Suzuki sized body on strong axles.
Both have huge advantage in the field

I'd have thought that strength and light weight would be important in a succesful winch challenge truck, so I'm surprised no-one has used the 'Zuk before.

I reacon the whitbred/disco is the biz as its light and wont get damaged panels etc but can it be made road legal? and would it fit in a standard garage?
