Dont even carry a spare now.  I have a direct line to one of the best mobile tyre fitters in norfolk if i cant fix the puncture myself lol

And yes suvvey, i have a 235/86/16 bfg trac edge that you could have for a spare, it even comes with a black landrover rim.

I can bring it on sunday if you are going

Nah, couldnt paint it red, it would stand out too much during the time it took me to get my finger out and get the puncture repaired  :lol:

There's still the minor point that it's illegal having mixed sizes on the same axle.

Insurance will be invalidated

£2500 fine isn't it? It's way more than the 60 for bald tyres.

Braking and steering will be impared, the smaller wheel wanting to stop a LOT faster than the larger one.

A can of the instant tyre repair stuff is genius, and if the tyre is that bad that it can't be sealed, then flash that aa card.

Saying that, isn't recovery membership now cheaper than a spare tyre?
