Washers
Merlin:
My front wipers & washers work fine. My rear wipers work fine but the rear WASHERS have packed in. No noise at the pump so I recon it's electrical somewhere.
Has this happened to anyone & does anyone know the cure?
Fairly new to Rangie's & just feeling my way so help will be appreciated.

Standard things apply really.
Check the fuses
Check the earth
Get a multimeter and see if there is voltage present at the pump when someone hits the button
Merlin:
Thanks for that, which fuse relates to the rear washer?, & would the earth not be for the electric pump, which is working OK, as the front washers are fine. Do you know where the earth is?. As I said, just learning so sorry to be asking for specifics.--Cheers--Cogs
Merlin:
Had a closer look tonight & there seems to be 3 pumps just for the washers, one big one & two smaller, similar looking ones. Can anyone tell me which is which?--Cogs
SPIKEY:
Cogs - check the switch as well.
I had a problem with the rear wash / wipe on my '88 Classic.
Pull the switch out from the o/s steering column surround, and check the connections on the rear.
The connector on mine had started to melt, and this was the problem.
New connector and new switch = problem solved.
Cheers,
SPIKEY.
