Rear lighting position regulations - can't find them

slightly different regarding beacons . i had a flashing mag mount beacon whilst towing and was pulled saying i couldnt use it because it wasnt a registered tow vehicle ??. any one shed any light :doh: on this ?

MMM, It's a bit of a grey area but basically you are'nt supposed to use beacons etc while actually towing. Sounds daft but they are only for use while hooking or loading up. Additional lights are fine as long as the originals are still fitted but their operation becomes covered by the MOT. ;)
