stretchy:

after a lot of towing offroading and carrying heavy loads and full lenghth roof rack my arse end is sagging a bit. it already has 2'' lift kit.  what I want to do is get another set of the disc plate things the rear springs sit on turn them upside down and put them under the existing ones with some longer bolts. will this efect anything els?? I have seen this done lots of times but wasant sure If they uprated anything els ? my shocks are standard 2'' lift kit shocks that dont alow anything to dislocate.

Devon-Rover:
A few of the usual suppliers do supply +2 inch spring spacers. These go between the spring seat and the axle mount. I have Terrafirma + 2" spacers and they help to combat the sag i get from the rear bumper and gas tank.

Range Rover Blues:
EEEk :-o  who has been putting the spring seat on upside down   what is left to locate the spring on the seat other than good luck?

If you don't want to fit new springs then fit spacers, but be careful you don't risk them becoming coil-bound on extreme articulation.

the bottem of the spring will still sit in the seat the corect way. I just want to use another seat to go underneth this one to act as a spacer. will probly lift it 1 inch
will this be ok.?????

wizard:

Have a look in my ebay shop for a pair of 1 inch spacers.
You also get a 10% discount cos of MC.
