CLASSIC BRAKE OVERHAUL ?

Some-one did mention a press to me.

I think a general overhaul is due on the Range.
One thing that puzzles me is that the new rear shocks have only been on for a few months, but the top bushes have worn out ( after a few off - road trips ).

Has any-one got any tips for fixing a rear diff casing leak ?
At the moment it is only a dribble, and the breather is clear.

Cheers,

SPIKEY.

When I first bought my Range Rover it had a leaking diff pan . After investigation I decided that it was too fragile to weld so I cleaned it up and used metal putty thishas sealed it and I have not had any problems since

If you can pick up a spare one or set of hubs, you can refurb them/it in advance and just swap the units over, keeps the vehicle on the road and useable

just resealed my calipers over the weekend and knowing the trouble i had last time with the wiper seal retainers   i cheated and left them in place and hooked the seal out with an o ring pick then carefully fitted the new ones in place after cleaning out the groove, all seems to be working at the mo no problem :D
