If I get hold of a manual box what else will i need to covert to manual excluding the clutch flywheel etc.

Pedal Box and Master cylinder for the clutch?

Why do you want to go manual mate is there something wrong with ur auto box. Have u got it going yet mate. I cant think of much else really other than pedal box, clutch hydraulics, flywheel, gearbox maybe brake master cylinder not sure tho. What about props are they the same.

Still not running yet. I was just weighing up options, if I can’t get it started there’s a lump on eBay with a manual included. I’m rechecking the ignition timing tomorrow as I originally did it of the timing mark on the crank pulley, but just reading around on the net this can be off sometimes, so I shall take the spark plug out of no1 cylinder and bodge a screwdriver in there to confirm tdc, then start again. If it dont work im stumped for ideas why it wont fire.

I completely emptied the car today seats & everything. Got rid of most of the mud. I was just checking for rust. Which there isn’t any...? Ha ha!

Ok dont rub it in is there anything at all when u crank it i can pop round tonite on me way home and we can try jumping it if u like. I take your getting fuel now after u changed every thing over.

:D Got it running! timing was out. I used old dizzy aswell in the end. It idles high around 2000rpm so thats either timing or the air bypass valve. Smoking like a beast though, Im hoping its the residual oil in the exhuast from the old engine. That or i got confused and refit the old engine after taking it out?
