You can't say I didn't do anything this week!
« on: March 31, 2005, 22:33:18 »
We've had one of those rare weeks up here when it's not rained!  \:D/

So, on with boilersuit and get some work done on the Disco.

The package arrived from Scorpion Racing so the tank guard was first to get fitted, followed by the alloy fairlead and finally the radius arms.

Then I had to go on shift so that was it from Sunday until today.
Finished Nights at 8am, home, change, took the Disco for it's MOT, PASSED!!  =D>
MOT man (a Series III owner   ) said "I don't know why you bother bringing it here, everything's new, how do you expect me to find a any faults with it in this condition?"  If only he knew!!  :?

Picked up 7 litres of oil on the way home, then started on the oil change, fuel filter, clean the K&N, check and top-up where needed and I even had time to fit one of the side protection bars that's been lying near the front door since October.
Now I just hope the weather's ok in the morning so I can get the other side done.  [-o<

With no sleep and after doing that lot, I'm goosed!  :(contented):

Early night me thinks!!

Well done that man.  Makes me feel even worse about sitting here contemplating a quick Series clutch replacement rather than getting in and doing the job.

Well, that's the other side done.
The wind calmed down and the rain went away just long enough for me to get the job finished.  :D

So now I've just got the propshaft & spare wheel carrier to do when I get back from this course. Then the only thing left on the "wish list" is a 1.4 ratio transfer box and this will have to be done before June!!  :?
