Most economic small 4x4??? RAV4 reviews???
lightweight-love:
Yeah iv been thinking about a Jimny hopefully someone can tell me how there like for fuel?
I didnt know you could get a freelander that cheap? il look into that one.
Heres a few other ideas i had
Rav4
Honda CRV- looks like a car can it go offroad?
Panda(new style)- could just about afford one
Forester- estate so not as easy to find parking for in busy side streets
Renault RX4-UGLY (never seem a rx4 owner here so think im ok saying that!)
McGuire:
Diahatsu Terios.
bravo669:
definitely a jimny id say. not a sportrak with chunky tyres. they eat fuel!
lightweight-love:
Terios cost too much dont they?
I had a chat with her today and ruled out jimny as she only likes the new shape(i agree) and they too pricey. She has a sportrak now and the gearing i blame for burning up all the petrol have to rev lots in each gear and get no-where!
Rav4 might be a possible tho, its offroading ability wont be stretched but im sure it can handle bumpy tracks and mud/grassy fields that it needs to, and can pick one up pretty cheap a very tidy example of a 94 reg for £1200 maybe.
So anyone have any experience of them?
McGuire:
Don't know whether you know the Wayfarer? I've met RAV4s up there, and they handle that just fine.
Terios has been around for a while now, so should be available in your price range? Good little motors.
