« on: July 20, 2009, 21:42:05 »
Hi Guys can anyone help the cruise control on my wifes Td5 51 plate Discovery has stopped working would be nice to get it going again being as we are going away at the weekend. The switch on the dash board lights up ok i have checked the wiring behind the air bag and all looks ok there as well, just wondering of there are any other common faults with them that i can start checking.
Cheers

The only time mine stopped working for no apparent reason, I found the setting in the ECU had somehow been reset.

Do you have Nanocom to check it out?

No unfortunately not but if i did it would not work the OBD port does not talk to the car   i may be able to get hold of a ECU and give that a try,do you know if i can just plug it in or does it have to be programed  [-o<
Does anyone have a list of conponents for the cruise control so i can get checking i have checked the 3 switches,am i right in thinking the ECU sit under the passager seat  :-k
