Always been impressed with what they will do, they are very light compared to any LR so the lack of power is offset, plus the lightness avoids getting bogged down so much, again you need less power if you don't sink into so much mud. They only struggle when trying to recover another vehicle in my experience, so all in all a sensible option.
As is the Lada from what I hear.
