Hi all, as some may know I am  defecting form a Disco owner & moving here to the dark side  :afro:,  can any tell me how much work would be involved in fitting a 200tdi into a 2.5td 90  ? as I am now breaking the disco with an excellent 200tdi engine 7 have seen a 90 at right money

John, at last you have seen the light, yes the one you use when under the Landy :-#

Give Rob at Birmingham 4x4 a call

I know if you have the R380 G/B it moves the engine forward which makes changing the starter easier, unlike the PITA defender set up.

I think he may have one he can show you.

Easyest job in the world john. The hardest bit is fabricating a down pipe. All the bit to do it are in a 200 disco exhaust. Give us a bell and i will fill you in. OR you could go to steve parker and pay £136 OUCH, Ive got one and made one for the other motor which actully is better than steve parkers.

Owning a defender is like owning a disco apart from you need deeper pockets and a set of wellies for when it rains coz it will let some water in somewhere,but you will never know where from.
