Gearbox oil

I am currently down in Sussex and not at home where i have me haynes manual!

Where do i check the level of the gearbox oil level and fill if necessary??

What oil should i use for it???

Assuming it is a manual gearbox you fill it with ATF. The level bung (on a 200tdi) is a 13mm square half way uop the gearbox on the drivers side.

If it's an R380gearbox....... i don't know, sorry

If it's an R380gearbox.......

As above but it's a Torx T55 for the filler plug. Technically, if it is an R380 then it's MTF94 to fill it with too.
