Agreed, i run wo heavy bikes.
My jump bike has halo sas rims which weigh a bomb as they are both 48 spoke but have never bent one.
My downhill bike weighs in at just over 20kg which helps send me down the mountain faster, and allows stability in the air over 30-40foot gaps  :dance: :twisted:

My house mate does get just a little obsesive with trial bike weight, his current trial bike is comfortably under 10kg or less than a twelth of his own weight :-. reducing bike weight though was obviously easier :lol:

Not sure what his current rims are, the rear was twin wall, but then machined to single :lol:

I did a bit of trails a few years ago, i can appreciate the time, skill, effort, blood and pain that goes into it. Unfortunately no where near to that degree of skill. Well done to that highly devoted man and people like him.
