Headlights not working (and wiper problems!)

The failure described there is the usual one - "can't turn headlights off" - not what you're experiencing.  Worth a look though.  All you have to do is unplug it and then the lights should all work as normal (except the dim-dip feature of course).  If they don't, you have some other problem.

I think that there might be a problem in the dim-dip :-k unless you have blown a fuse.
