mass199:
Is it a series 3 with a defender front end, or a range rover hybrid?

steve howes:
not sure its at www.douglasvalley.co.uk  just checked its got a 200 tdi engine   but NO v5 think i'll give it a miss

landymadjay:
That company have had that landy for sale for a long long time

J.D.:
It's year of registration is 1974, which could make it a Series III hybrid, or a 2 - door Range Rover hybrid with a chopped down chassis. I think it is the latter.

I can't comment on what has actually happened to that truck, but FWIW, my opinion is that if you look at the rear view of the truck, the nearside tyre doesn't protude out from under the wheel arch as much as the offside one. It also looks as if the chassis may be twisted from the impact, but it is hard to tell from images. It looks, again personal opinion, like its had a TA impact on the front offside wing.

That would tie in with it being an insurance Cat C write off, which is "An extensively damaged vehicle which the insurer has decided not to repair, but which could be repaired and returned to the road. !.

Go to www.dvla.gov.uk for more information.

My opinion, for what it is worth, is its best left alone, but as with all these things, you can't tell before you go and see it.
