babe magnet

<< < (2/4) > >>

Saffy:
If the elderly, camo anoraks or rivet counting fascists are your thing then driving a Series 1 landy is a serious magnet.

Lord Shagg-Pyle:
I have to say that being a middle aged, balding, overweight, undertall driver of a 93 Disco, I very rarely attract any kind of attention, unless it is from the 'armchair activists' who leave snotty notes on my windscreen about me being 'an environmental terrorist, killer of wildlife, hunter of whales, pursuer of foxes etc etc'.
From my knowledge of that sort, they are usually ugly, bored, comfortable shoe wearing, bean eating, lentil wranglers, who haven't washed since they were born.

Not that I wish to stereotype, of course!

So, in answer to your question, Robbo, its a big NO!

Frankie-Boy:

Love your choice of words LSP     :D

Try owning a Series, it's even worse.

I've come to realise a lot of them think anything over three years old is [!Expletive Deleted!] "because it old banga init".

But get a Range Rover Classic and it's a whole different story.

Well they do have a point and the seats don't even recline.  And in your case, a vehicle that does actually move somewhere would be a plus RichieP, can't say you pull much on a bare chassis. You need to find a nice farm lass with dirt under her nails, oily rag in back pocket and doesn't mind the in-vehicle shouting conversation peaking at "Is that rattle coming from your side or mine?". In my teens I did get dumped by a forecourt flusey when I went from driving a relatively new car to an ancient purple vauxhall viva "wouldn't be seen dead in that", a vehicle that current wife didn't mind even though I finally wrapped it around a telegraph pole with her in it.
