depending on your welding experiance it can be realitivly straight forward, but with all series be prepared to open up a can of worms. try the likes of paddock spares/ john craddock for prices on the footwell repair panels i think i paid around £13 for this and welded it myself, novice welder but now improving with alot more welding :lol:

Relatively straight forwards to repair the bulkhead in those areas, and are very common rot places on all utility Land Rovers (Defenders suffer the exact same problems).  It's just a time consuming job to get it right.

Last I heard the company that made these replacement parts for bulkheads and such had gone under earlier last year?  What I do know is that someone in the Series 2 Club are making ribbed original items rather than the flimsy pattern version that are merely straight bits of steel bent to shape.
