Personally I'd save the cash and spend it on the Disco. I run a little Clio as a cheap run about and the only time it see's money is when I'm filling it up with Petrol... :lol: :lol: :lol: and compaired to my Discovery it's like a little rocket... :dance: :dance: :dance:

Spend the money on regular servicing and some good, but standard tyres like yokohama, bridgestone, toyo whne the current ones run out.

Maybe put a K&N in when you need to service the filter, but most mods like that make no difference unless you do the other end (e.g. exhaust) and the power gains are negligable, no more than running on a cold day.

A decent stereo whacked up to full, skinny tyres and then drive it like it's stolen.... Hmmmm .... maybe getting it stolen and then claiming insurance is an idea ?  :lol:
IMO you should keep it as it is and spend the dosh you save in running costs on your Disco

If by asking 'is it worth it'  you mean will the amount I spend on it increase the value of the car by a proportionate amount, then the answer is 'no'.

If, however, will it be enjoyable to tinker with a car and add a few simple mods, then 'Yes'. About from my Jag Sovereign, I've done something to every car I've ever owned, be it wheels, suspension, engine, stereo, paint, etc. I do it cos I enjoy it.
