V8MoneyPit:
I understand a lot of DeWalt is now made in China (what isn't these days?), but still seems to be good quality. If there is a deal on it, it might be worth going for.
That one looks quite big. It depends what you want it for. I've had a little 9.6v Makita cordless for years and it's been brilliant. Very useful for getting into tight spaces that my corded mains drill can't.
Ridgeback:
I have the same one and its now had a hard life and its still going.
It is very good but then it depends what you want to do with it. Its pushing it a bit if you want to drill into hard brick with large drill bits.
muddydisco:
It'll be more for automotive use really maybe a bit of DIY :|
Spot welds etc
V8MoneyPit:
As an aside, I would highly recommend one of these for drilling out spot welds. Brilliant piece of kit.
