20 inch Rangie rims on disco 2

I just picked up a set of 20 inch r/r rims, I know they fit hte disco 2 TD5 with the extra rings fitted,  but i was wondering on a couple of things before i invest in tyres.. they are fitted with 295 40 R20 I have been told these will fit on with no mods is this true? I was also wondering if there was any reason anyone could see for reducing the speed rating, as they are fitted with W/Y/Z ie high speeds but V  rated are alot cheaper, they have a 149 mph top speed can anyone see if there would be a problem fitting the lower rating?

just on speed rating is a supper charged rang rover not limited to 150mph? thus meaning the should be sold with tyres rated for that  or above (w/y/z)?

So unless you have a very special d2 you should be fine with v rating.

The rolling diameter of those steam-roller wheels is only slightly larger than stock, however, seeing as they're 40mm wider, you may have to adjust the lock stop bolts (if you do, fit a washer underneath) ...
