were to find solinoid realay

my 4x4 still wont engage, iv checked the Vac pipes and they all look sound no cracks or damage. I put a volt meter no what a think was the feed to the solenoid and get no volts but i no i have volts to my switch so i was wondering if there is a relay between the switch and the solenoid and if so were do i find it?
any suggestions much appreciated

Yep, there is a relay for it in the fuse/relay box. if the diagram i have is right for your model it will have blue/white wires going in and yellow/black and blue/yellow wires coming out  ;)

in that main fuse/ relay box there is no relay ladled on the layout diagram on the inside of the lid to the fuse box so i wonder if there is another 1 anywere els ?

im slowly working through the mass of wireing and finding all the parts to the 4x4 system. they fuse box/ relay box layout diagram on my lid to the fuse relay box shows a main fuse for the ECM and then lower down showes 2 relays for ECM-1 and ECM-2 and i was just wondering what the 2 diffrent ECMs did?

cheers i got ur e mail but im not shore its any help to loacating the relay, i have managed to find the 4x4 ECM its self but im not shore wot the 2 diffrent ECM relays are for. would any thing happen if a pulled the relays out wilst the truck was switched off and changed it for i a new worked, it wouldnt set off any anti theft devises or anything stupid like that? :afro:
