You will get lots of V8 fans telling you they are underpowered and rubbish:
Not a sports car - superb to drive, true Range Rover with BMW engineering.

True not as much power as a V8 but still more than enough, even towing and decent MPG without having to mess about with gas (which Gordon is only upping the tax on anyway).

Head changes on V8's are standard, I don't know anybody who has had to do one on the BMW unless they have been stupid - like blindly tweaking boost.

There is actually a fair bit of reserve in the engine to be chipped/tweaked as well.

Bobtail:

What are they like to ive with

Cheers

Jim

I love my diesel DSE, I use it daily it is power chipped, I usually change vehicles every 6months or so, I will have this one a few years, very very happy. I brought what I class as a cheap one an will spend money getting it a bit nicer but mostly wanna use it on an off road and also for towing my race vehicle. Love it so far an smile every time I drive it

bustermb:
i love mine but they can be trying :D
