how do i fix ?

I had the same thing last week  :(

Island 4x4 do a kit for £19 on ebay that includes 2 bearings ,2 swivel seals (12mm and 9mm incase you don't know which one you need) all the gaskets you need and grease.. easy job to do (I hadn't done one before ) and if the play is bad enough to fail the mot theres a good chance the cage on the bearing has colapsed so It's worth changing them ...(the needle rollers were bullit shaped  :shock:) took about an hour.


Though I did try the shim thing above first :oops: didn't work  :lol: :lol:
