iv started pulling my 127 apart! after driving through 5 foot deep water it still wont die, (what a machine),although i think the mot man may have something to say about the clouds of smoke in the cab and at the exauhst, i have decieded to rebuilt everything from the tipper body forward. took a 41/2inch adjuster to the a bar, sold that, removed the halogen lights and winch to put on the range rover and started to remove the welded on d2 winch tray(why my dad didnt buy a proper bumper....). i will work out how to include pictures and try and update this every so often.

by the way, can a disco 200 tdi engined defender be converted to a 300 auto, again from a disco?

You could use your ISP's web space to build a simple web site to keep pics like I'm doing with my rebuild (www.sjnash.co.uk).

Woo the beasty started bet that chucked out some muck...we still on for next weekend? have you found a donor disco yet?

im still on for next weekend, not gettin the disco till im ready to do the engine as space is fairly limited, withe the trilers and other stuff. made fairly good progress gettin the winch off and stuff, if i keep doin little bits during the week we should be able to get the wings and cab apart at the weekend, should make a nice pile for the scrap man! :) have started putting some of the bits ive taken off on the rangie

we had a good few hours work on it this weekend, martin110 striped the winngs, front panel and cooling system, and i fitted the winch onto the rangerover :dance: :dance:
